Additive blockade of IAch by BW284c51 and tacrine. As shown, the blockade caused by individual application of these drugs was comparable, but their coapplication resulted in an increased inhibition. The height of the bars indicates the fraction of the control IAch remaining after the application of Ach with the indicated drugs. Data are the mean±s.e.m. (five oocytes from two donors).
