Inhibition of basal [³⁵S]GTPγS binding by inverse agonists via D₂ dopamine receptors expressed in CHO cells. [³⁵S]GTPγS binding was determined in the presence of different concentrations of drugs as described in Methods section. The data were fitted using a sigmoidal dose–response curve with a Hill coefficient of one and expressed as a percentage of the maximal (+)-butaclamol response. The data shown represent single experiments, replicated as in Table 2.
