The EPSC depressing effect of E139 is occluded by pretreatment with NO-711, a GABA reuptake blocker. (a) A representative time–effect plot showing that 50 μM NO-711 reversibly depresses evoked EPSC amplitude. At the peak of the NO-711 effect, coapplication of E139 produces no additional EPSC inhibition.
