The current–voltage relationships were obtained in the absence (control) or presence of 100 nM forskolin. The current amplitude was measured as the peak amplitude of IBa in each condition. The lines were drawn by eye. The cell capacitance was 43 pF. (b) Effects of isoproterenol on the peak amplitude of IBa. The current–voltage relationships were shown in the absence and presence of isoproterenol (10 and 100 μM). Isoproterenol also inhibited the peak amplitude of IBa evoked by depolarizing pulses (1 s duration) from −70 mV at levels more positive than −30 mV and the inhibitory effects of isoproterenol on IBa showed a voltage- and concentration dependency. The lines were drawn by eye. The cell capacitance was 52 pF.
