The primary visible effects at this sublethal concentration of DAS534 are loss of cotyledon decurvature and increased hypocotyl elongation (F). afb5-4 and sgt1b-4 are resistant to this effect (G and I), whereas mutants transformed with the corresponding wild-type gene regain the response (H and J). The afb5-4 CsVMV:AFB5 line (H) appears to have an increased response relative to Col-0 (F).
