Cell-type-specific modulation of PPAR subtype specificity. (A) Grouping of target genes according to their relative subtype specificity in NIH-CAR fibroblasts, AML-12 hepatocytes, and MIN6 pancreatic β cells. Cells were transduced and treated with agonists, and the expression of target genes was determined as described in the legend of Fig. 5A.
