Induction of expressions of hepatic cytochrome P450 2B and 5-aminolevulinate synthase 1 genes in BALB/c and Fech mice after exposure to the CAR ligand TCPOBOP. Mice (8 weeks old) were administered TCPOBOP (3 mg/kg) and after 3 days hepatic gene expression was determined by cDNA array analysis. No induction of heme oxygenase 1 (Hmox1) was detected.
