Modulation of mouse survival by AnxA1. Wild-type and AnxA1-null mice received 10 mg/kg of LPS intraperitoneally at time 0 and survival rate was monitored at 12-hour intervals up to 96 hours after LPS. A group of AnxA1-null mice was rescued by receiving 10 ng of hrANXA1 at time 0, 4, 8, and 24 hours (arrows) after LPS (□).
