Fluorescence micrographs of planar-supported bilayers mimicking the inner leaflet lipid composition of the mammalian PM. Bilayers were composed of equimolar amounts of porcine brain PC and PE (A) or PC, PE, and PS (B) and cholesterol as indicated.
