Time dependent stress in steady shear at 0.05 s⁻¹ for the synovial fluid model (red or dark grey); bovine synovial fluid (green or light grey); and an 11 mg ml⁻¹ solution of BSA in PBS (dark blue or black). All three tests immediately followed a preshear at 100 s⁻¹ for 5 min and t=0 is shortly after the end of the preshear and the start of the application of 0.05 s⁻¹.
