Time dependent stress in steady shear at 0.08 s⁻¹ for 11 mg ml⁻¹ BSA in PBS: with a 10 000 s delay (red or dark grey); with $\dot{\gamma }=0s^{-1}$ for 6700 s<t<10 000 s (green or light grey); with $\dot{\gamma }=100s^{-1}$ for 5400 s<t<10 500 s (dark blue or black). All three tests immediately followed a preshear at 100 s⁻¹ for 5 min.
