Growth of E.coli expressing Cc RNase BL21(DE3)pLysS E.coli host cells harboring the plasmid Pcb (A), Psa (B) or PF (D) and BL21(DE3)pLysS host cells containing the plasmid Psa (C) were grown in M9 medium supplemented with ampicillin and the optical densities (600 nm) were recorded hourly. When exponential phase growth was achieved, 1 mM IPTG was added to half of each culture. Each experiment was repeated four times and the mean values are reported.
