Effects of extracellular STC on Pi uptake in Paju cells. The cells were incubated in Lockes' buffer containing 160 mM NaCl. The phosphate uptake was initiated by addition of 200 ng/ml recombinant STC together with 125 μM KH₂³²PO₄, and the radioactivity was measured at indicated time points.
