Data for calling behavior (12 groups of five males) and mating (17 replications of five males and females) represent the cumulative percentages of the total number of animals observed over 10 days. Data on pheromone release represent the mean of 10 replicates (five males per replicate) and are expressed as the total amount of all pheromone components released by a single male per hour relative to that released by virgin 10-day-old males.
