(B) Accumulated cytokine production by primary macrophages. TNFα and IL-1β secretion were elevated (p < 0.05) in AUF1^−/− cells after LPS endotoxin stimulation. (C) Kinetics of TNFα and IL-1β expression in LPS-stimulated primary macrophages. Sustained expression of proinflammatory cytokines led to elevated levels of cytokine production in AUF1-deficient macrophages compared with those in wild-type cells, even at 24 h post-LPS challenge. Secreted cytokines were measured by ELISA.
