S. cerevisiae BY4741 was incubated with 10 mM hydrogen peroxide (A) or 175 mM acetic acid, pH 3.0 (B), 60% (wt/wt) glucose (C) or 150 mM hydrogen peroxide (D). Samples were taken at the time points indicated and plated on solid YPD media. c.f.u. were counted after 2 d of incubation at 30°C.
