Determination of interacting motif in RRS. The peptide fragments of the N-terminal extension in RRS were tested for interactions with KRS, LRS, and MRS. The helical regions in the N-terminal extension predicted by the antheprot program are marked by open boxes. The N-terminal extensions of KRS and MRS and the C-terminal extension of LRS were used for the experiments. Cells were grown on leucine-depleted yeast synthetic medium for 3 days at 30°C.
