(A) Transfected NIH 3T3 cells were labeled with BCECF-AM, plated for 15 or 40 min on a plastic surface coated with laminin-1, and after washing, adhesion was quantitated as described (20). In some experiments, anti-α6 mAb GoH3 (7.5 μg/ml) was added. (B) NIH 3T3 cells transfected with CD151-WT or CD151-c2-NAG2 were analyzed by flow cytometry for α6 integrin (mAb GoH3) or CD151 (mAb 5C11) as described (20).
