Detection of ubiquitinated HBx. Cells were cotransfected with plasmids coding for hexahistidine-tagged ubiquitin and HBx. Ubiquitinated proteins, isolated by affinity chromatography, were analyzed for HBx by immunoblotting with anti-HA antibody.
