Cells were treated with EGF (100 ng/ml) and 100 nmol of AQP3 RNAi duplexes (more than four sequences) described above for 24 h. AQP3 expression in cell lysates was analysed by Western blotting (a). Cell migration was detected by phagokinetic track motility assay as described in the Materials and methods section and photographed at 24 h (c). AQP3 expression and cell migration were expressed as fold change shown in (b) and (d) respectively. Cell morphological change was observed under phase-contrast microscopy (e). The results represent means±S.E.M. for triplicate experiments.
