Quantification of bovine plasma PrP^C levels by capture–detector immunoassay. Bovine and homozygous ovine ARQ plasma PrP^C levels were determined as described in the Materials and methods section. Capture monoclonal antibodies were 6H4 or FH11 and detector monoclonal antibodies were biotinylated V24 or V26. The results are means±S.D. (n≥5). *P≤0.001 (comparison with ovine homozygous ARQ).
