Lack of metabolism of [¹⁴C]HePC. Cells were incubated for 6 h at 28°C in the presence of [¹⁴C]HePC. Both cells and medium (lanes 2 and 3) or just the cell pellets (lanes 4 and 5) were recovered, and lipids were extracted for analysis by thin-layer chromatography as described in Materials and Methods.
