The spike amplitude was measured from a membrane potential of −70 mV.
The largest after-hyperpolarization (AHP, maximum) was measured within the first 8–15 ms after beginning of the spike.
The second measurement of AHP was 40 ms after the beginning of the spike. Data from 10 neurones. Student's paired t test was used to compare control parameters with those obtained in Co2+. n.s., non-significant difference with P > 0.25.
