Experiment 1. Growth and fatty acid content of the G. intraradices mycelium in P-free medium and in 2.5 mm KH₂PO₄ (high-P). Total amounts of PLFAs and NLFAs extracted from mycelia in liquid medium (see Table II) are given together with the proportion of unsaturated PLFAs and NLFAs (mean ± se, n = 4). The effect of P treatment was tested with Student's t test.
