Tobacco BY-2 cells were transformed with the CDKB2;1 (A) or CYCD4;1 (B) promoter fused to the luciferase (LUC) reporter gene and synchronized with aphidicolin. After removal of aphidicolin, cell cycle progression was monitored by counting the mitotic index (white square).
