AtNAP1;1 complements the yeast nap1 mutant. DK213 yeast nap1 cells were transformed with pJR1133 vector alone (+), ScNAP1 (▴), AtNAP1-1 (▪), or AtNAP1;1^C369S (•), and cells were arrested in G₂/M and then released in fresh media at the permissive temperature (30°C) or at the restrictive temperature (37°C). A, Cell proliferation was monitored at 37°C by measuring the OD_{600 nm} of the culture over a period of 24 h. B, Nomarski images after 16 h at 30°C.
