BAF binds DNA nonspecifically. Gel mobility-shift assay of BAF binding to three different 21-mer duplex oligonucleotides (A, B, and C). Binding was carried out at 30°C for 30 min. Samples then were loaded onto a 4–20% polyacrylamide gel in TBE buffer, electrophoresed at 8 V/cm for 3 h on ice, and imaged by using a Molecular Dynamics PhosphorImager.
