Each control (non-supplemented) animal received a 100% of A04 maintenance diet (Panlab, Barcelona, Spain). Each supplemented animal received an 80% of A04 maintenance diet plus 20% of cereal fractions (B, C, D or E) naturally rich in polyphenols.
