Amount of Tf-mediated ⁵⁵Fe uptake at different concentrations of diferric Tf by fWTHFE/tTA, fW81AHFE/tTA, and fC260YHFE/tTA HeLa cells. Tf-⁵⁵Fe was incubated with cells for 1 h at 37°C at 5% CO₂ in medium without FCS. For each cell line, cells were expressing (Dox-) or not expressing (Dox+) HFE. The experiment was repeated twice with similar results.
