Complexes with ER chaperones. (A) HEK293 cells expressing wild-type and Pro62 IR were pulse–chase-labeled and lysed in CHAPS (3-[(3-cholamidopropyl)dimethylammonio]-1-propanesulfonate). Samples were divided equally for immunoprecipitation with calnexin (Cnx) and calreticulin (Crt), and one-half equivalent volume was immunoprecipitated with receptor antibodies and then processed for 5/8% SDS/PAGE.
