A-tract–NPS minicircles. The six phased A-tracts and the 30-bp NPS region are separated by linker regions with variable lengths of 12, 16, of 20 bp. The adaptor region enables variation of the overall length of the constructs. The first number in the nomenclature of our constructs, e.g., 12_154, indicates the length of the phasing linker, and the second number indicates the overall length of the construct.
