Effect of silencing the hsp25 gene on proliferation of 4T1 breast adenocarcinoma cells. Exponentially growing wild-type 4T1 cells (wt) or 4T1 cells transfected with GFP^plasmid, siRNA-Hsp25, pLXSN or Hsp25^Neo transfectants were seeded and treated with 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H tetrazolium, inner salt (MTS) to determine the proliferation as described in ‘Materials and Methods’.
