*p<0.0001, RV v IVS; †p<0.0001, IVS v LV; ‡p<0.0001, RV v LV; §p<0.05, IVS v LV.

Aw, peak atrial systolic motion velocity; Ew, peak early diastolic motion velocity; IVS, interventricular septum recorded from its base; LV, left ventricle recorded from lateral site of the mitral annulus; RV, right ventricle recorded from lateral site of the tricuspid annulus; Sw, peak systolic motion velocity. In the children group, two peak waveforms(S1w, S2w) were noted during systole in the IVS and LV wall.
