Age >65 years History of diabetes, hypertension, or angina Documented coronary stenosis >50% ST deviation ⩾2 anginal events in the proceeding 24 hours Aspirin treatment in the prior seven days Increased cardiac markers More prior congestive heart failure or more MI, coronary artery bypass grafting, or percutaneous coronary intervention

Each characteristic qualifies for one point in the risk score.
