Prevalence of under-anticoagulation (INR < 2.0), overanticoagulation (INR > 3.0), and correct anticoagulation (INR within range 2.0–3.0) at the time of each clinical event. Patients who had a stroke or thromboembolic event were more likely to have an INR < 2.0 (58.1% and 69.2%, respectively). Patients experiencing a haemorrhagic complication were more likely to have been relatively over-anticoagulated (INR > 3.0; 42.9%).
