 Serial views of koilocytes using three dimensional reconstruction and surface rendering. (A) Binucleation with a perinuclear cavity characteristic of a koilocyte revealed a single, central, fused, bilobated nucleus. Surface and wire frame rendering showed bilobation connected by an anaphase bridge (arrow). (B) An extremely irregular multinucleated nucleus was shown be a single multilobated nucleus (arrow). On surface rendering magnification, its contour was too notched to be multinucleated in the two dimensional plane.
