Effect of cycloheximide on maximal change in short circuit current (Isc) induced by histamine (hist) with or without exposure to tumour necrosis factor α (TNF-α). Cells were incubated with 10 μg/ml cycloheximide (cyclo) bilaterally for one hour before TNF-α exposure (4–5 hours). Data are presented as means (SEM) from 3–7 monolayers.
