Electrical responses of ischaemic injured porcine ileal mucosa to varying doses of indomethacin. Tissues treated with either 5×10−6 M or 5×10−7 M indomethacin had levels of transepithelial electrical resistance (R) that remained significantly below untreated ischaemic tissue levels throughout the recovery period whereas tissues treated with 5×10−8 M indomethacin recovered to the same extent as untreated ischaemic tissues. *p<0.05 versus untreated ischaemic tissues. Significance was determined by one way ANOVA following two way ANOVA on repeated measures, n=8.
