Id2+/+ and Id2−/− mice were treated intraperitoneally with 800 mg/kg 5-FU. Eight mice were used in each group. (B) Translocation of endogenous bacteria from the intestine to the liver and spleen in mice treated with 5-FU. Numbers of bacteria in the liver and spleen of Id2+/+ and Id2−/− mice were determined on the indicated days after intraperitoneally injection of 800 mg/kg 5-FU.
