All of the colonies within the three branches, with perhaps the exception of colony A, have at least one parent who was a descendant from an initial pair of colonies that founded our laboratory stocks. Within this larger pedigree, the three branches are all distantly related to each other. Letters indicate colony identity. Listed below the identifier is the actual name of the colony in the pedigree (available on request).
