Western blot analysis of GmmMGP and GmmYP1 localization in mother and offspring. Glossina morsitans morsitans at all stages of pregnancy were dissected to separate mother from offspring. Total protein was isolated from mother and offspring for each pair. Equal relative amounts of protein were loaded for each mother/offspring pair (1/400th of either fly/embryo/larvae). Total protein levels per lane were shown by nigrosin staining of the membrane.
