A: Western blot analysis of the expression of CaMKII, AKT, pAKT, and FLIP in Fas-resistant (Fas-R) and Fas-sensitive (Fas-S) cells. Representative blot of six independent experiments is shown. B: The density of each band was normalized to the density of GAPDH, and comparison of the mean densities of each protein in Fas-resistant cells compared with that in Fas-sensitive cells was calculated as fold changes. Increased expression of CaMKII and increased constitutive phosphorylation of AKT (pAKT) and FLIP (cleaved FLIPp43) were demonstrated in Fas-resistant cells (n = 6, *P < 0.05).
