Effect of E2 on reendothelialization (A) and on the EPC mobilization in chimeric mice (B) in ovariectomized Fgf2−/− grafted with Fgf2+/+BM (Fgf2+/+BM = >Fgf2−/−) and Fgf2+/+ grafted with Fgf2−/−BM (Fgf2−/−BM = >Fgf2+/+) mice treated (E2) or not (placebo) with E2. The percentage of reendothelialization represents the ratio of the area remaining deendothelialized at day 3 on the area initially deendothelialized.
