Proliferation of ovine phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) blasts in response to ovine interleukin-4 (OvIL-4). PHA blasts were incubated with different dilutions of baculovirus supernatants containing OvIL-4 or with wild-type baculovirus supernatants. Proliferation of PHA blasts measured by [³H]-thymidine incorporation [in counts/min (c.p.m.)] is given as a stimulation index (SI):
Dilution units = reciprocal of the dilution factor used.
