(b) A control experiment in which the catching anti-rCRP or the detecting biotinylated anti-rCRP was replaced with normal rabbit immunoglobulin G (IgG) (▴) or biotinylated normal rabbit IgG (•), or both (⋄). Purified rat CRP was tested in each of these ELISAs. Results obtained with the normal ELISA are also shown (▪).
