C5a induces F-actin polymerization in DC correlating to C5aR expression. F-actin polymerization, as an indicator of chemotactic activity, of immature DC, DC(PGE2) and DC(IFN-γ) to stimulation with 1 µg/ml or 0·1 µg/ml C5a was determined. The response of DC(PGE2) was markedly higher than of DC(IFN-γ), corresponding to the C5aR expression level.
