The effects of water vapor in the bath gas on the formation of multiply protonated ions of lysine and its oligomers (Kn=2–5). In all cases, the sample solutions comprised analyte at a concentration of 400 μM in solvent comprising 99.5% methanol and 0.5% water containing 0.1% acetic acid.
