Exogenous recombinant CF45-1 slightly decreases the overaccumulation of extracellular countin and CF50 by cf45-1⁻ cells. Wild-type (WT) and cf45-1⁻ cells were starved in shaking culture in the absence (−) or presence (+) of 100 ng of recombinant CF45-1/ml.
