ATP titration experiments. Enzymatic activity (ADP and GDP formation) is monitored with the Agarwal assay, and the measurements are analyzed using the Eadie-Hofstee plots. The ds chimera activity is shown in red, whereas the ss chimera is shown in black. The slope is the same for the two plots, showing that KA is unaffected by the mechanical stress.
