EMSA with the Rv0282 upstream region. (A) Dose-response with increasing zinc concentrations. The purified Zur protein (800 ng) was incubated with the DNA fragment containing the Rv0282 upstream region (10 fmol) in the presence of increasing concentrations of ZnCl2 in 400 μM EDTA. Binding reactions were loaded onto a nondenaturing polyacrylamide gel.
